About Solair Energy LLC

Manish Gianchandani, CEO

Manish Gianchandani is the Chief Executive Officer of Solair Energy. He oversees all aspects of the company including operations, sales, accounting, and management. He is the liaison between Solair and all external parties including vendors, partners, and clients. He provides leadership to the company and holds all the officers and employees accountable.

Background. Manish was born and raised in Laredo, Texas, and he is dedicated to giving back to the community that raised him. In pursuit of this goal, Manish started Solair Energy to provide solar energy to South Texas. Manish is very well educated, receiving a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently attending the University of Texas School of Law, a nationally recognized top-tier law school in the United States. Manish’s areas of focus are real estate and energy law, and he is expected to graduate in May of 2017.  Manish has a passion for renewable energy. While in law school, he researched and wrote papers on the EPA’s Clean Power Plan, and South Texas’s potential for wind energy. Additionally, Manish has clerked for a federal magistrate district judge, a general practice law firm, a real estate law firm, and is currently clerking for an energy company that only deals in the wholesale electricity market.  Before entering law school, Manish worked as a sales representative for Oracle Corporation in the Silicon Valley area of California. Manish is dedicated to providing affordable solar solutions to the city of Laredo.

Sairam Pathi, COO

Background. Mr. Pathi graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. He is currently attending Concordia University Texas’s Master of Business Administration program and is expected to graduate in 2017. In the past, he served as the Finance and Accounting Manager/Controller for a major solar company in Austin, Texas. Mr. Pathi helped to significantly increase credit lines with vendors, improve the financial statements of the company to make them auditable, and oversaw many other aspects of the company outside the scope of his title. He served as one of the chief advisors to the CEO, assisted in mitigating operational risks, and helped bring much-needed working capital to the business. Along with the COO role at Solair Energy, Mr. Pathi is also currently the CEO of Voyage Solar Energy, LLC, a prominent solar company based out of Austin, Texas.
